Unlocked Truck With Keys Inside Stolen From Home

The following information was provided by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

Oak Drive, Fenton

Construction tools and copper piping was stolen between Nov. 7-8 from a home under construction on Oak Drive, Fenton. Missing items include a Sears Skill Saw, a chop saw, A Sears cordless drill, a Dewalt gas generator and miscellaneous lengths of copper piping. The value of the property was set at $945.

Hillsboro Valley Park Road, High Ridge

TVs and other electronic items and equipment were stolen Nov. 8 from a home on Hillsboro Valley Park Road in High Ridge. The fence had been forced down and a rear basement door had been forced open. Stolen were three men's watches, sunglasses and assorted men's and women's jewelry, a 32-inch LCD TV, a 42-inch plasma TV, a PlayStation 3 and Wii game system, three Blu-Ray discs, three games, two TV wall mounts and two HDMI cables. The victim had left the home at 11 a.m. and when she returned at 4 p.m. She discovered the home had been ransacked and drawers from a jewelry box lying in the hallway.

An unlocked red 1996 Ford Ranger truck with the keys inside was stolen Nov. 7 from a home on Country Club Drive, High Ridge. The vehicle was parked in the driveway of the home at about 11 p.m. Nov. 7 and was discovered missing at 7:15 a.m. Nov. 8. The victim told deputies his son operates the truck and that it was usually left unlocked. In addition, the son's wallet was left in the truck, from which $300 was missing.
