Two-Car Crash Sends 7 to Hospital Saturday
The accident was handled by the Missouri State Highway Patrol
Seven people sustained moderate injuries and a trip to St. Anthony's Medical Center following a two-car crash at about 10:25 p.m. Saturday, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).
According to the report, Melanie L. Cantrell, 35, of Fenton, was driving her 2002 Mitsubishi Gallant eastbound on Highway 30 when she changed lanes as she approached Delores Drive and her vehicle began to skid, striking a 2007 Dodge Ram driven by Rebecca Lynn-Peck, 56, of Fenton.
Injured in the crash were Melanie Cantrell, and the occupants of her vehicle, including Briana Cantrell, 14, of Barnhart, Steven M. Knight, 25, of Fenton, Timothy M. Moynihan, 47 of Fenton, Brittany J. Sansoucie, 12, of Barnhart, and Karley M. Thompson, 12, of Fenton. Also injured were Lynn-Peck. All injuries were described by the MSHP as moderate.

Both the North Jefferson County Ambulance District and the Fenton Fire Protection District transported the crash victims to the hospital.
