Gravois Bluffs, Fenton Crossing and Fenton Commons Retail Areas

A man was arrested Sept. 6 for stealing under $500 at the in the 600 block of Gravois Bluffs Boulevard. Police said the the suspect hid four DVDs in his pants and left the store without paying.

A juvenile was taken into custody Sept. 6 for stealing under $500 at the Walmart in the 600 block of Gravois Bluffs Boulevard. Police said the juvenile hid $187 worth of health and beauty items and left the store without paying. The juvenile was charged and released to her guardian, police said.

A man was arrested Sept. 4 for stealing under $500 at the in the 600 block of Gravois Bluffs Boulevard. Police said the suspect hid lighter fluid and fish tank tubing in his pocket and left the store without paying.

Two people were arrested Sept. 3 for stealing under $500 at the in the 600 block of Gravois Bluffs Boulevard. Police said the suspects hid $77.84 worth of Magic Game cards in their pockets and left the store without paying.

A woman was arrested Sept. 1 for stealing under $500 at the store in the first block of Gravois Bluffs Plaza. Police said  the suspect hid two bottles of vanilla extract in her purse and paid for the rest of her groceries, but failed to pay for the vanilla. Police said that when the woman was asked why she stole the vanilla she responded “I’m an alcoholic and drink the vanilla extract so my husband won’t find out I’m drinking again.”

A man was arrested Aug. 30 for stealing under $500 at the Walmart in the 600 block of Gravois Bluffs Boulevard. Police said the man made a fraudulent return to receive a gift card an then bought $49.30 worth of cookware with the gift card.

A juvenile was taken into custody Aug. 29 for stealing under $500 at the store in the 100 block of Gravois Bluffs Boulevard. Police said the juvenile hid a polo shirt in his backpack and left the store without paying. He was charged and released to his guardian, police said.

A man was arrested Aug. 29 for stealing under $500 at the Kohl's store in the 100 block of Gravois Bluffs Boulevard. Police said the suspect put eight pairs of pants in a plastic bag and left the store without paying.

Fenton Plaza

Police are investigating a Sept. 3 theft at Chic Nails in the first block of Fenton Plaza. Police said a woman received a manicure and had no cash for payment. She was allowed to leave to retrieve money from an ATM but never returned, police said.

Bowles Avenue

The St. Louis County Police Crisis Intervention Team responded to an incident Sept. 5 at the in the 1800 block of Bowles Avenue. Police said a subject threatened to kill himself and was taken to St. Johns Mercy Medical Center for treatment.

Axminister Drive

Police are investigating a Sept. 7 theft of over $500 at a Ryder facility in the 500 block of Axminister Drive. Police said someone entered a storage trailer and stole six semi-truck  tires.

Merus Court

Police are investigating a Sept. 7 theft of over $500 at the Mastec Corporation in the 700 block of Merus Court. Police said someone entered the fenced storage lot and stole a trailer.

South Highway Drive

Police are investigating a Sept. 6 theft of over $500 at in the 600 block of South Highway Drive. Police said someone entered the fenced storage lot and stole more than 300 semi-truck tires from a storage trailer.

Police are investigating a Sept. 5 fraud incident at the in the 800 block of South Highway Drive. Police said a suspect asked an employee for change and then confused her in order to receive more money than requested.

Rudder Industrial Park

Police are investigating a Sept. 6 theft of more than $500 at in the 170 block of Rudder Industrial  Park. Police said someone entered the fenced storage lot by cutting the lock and stole 1,000 pounds of steel.

Cassens Drive

Police are investigating a Sept. 5 auto theft from Frito-Lay in the 2510 Cassens Drive. Police said someone stole a company box truck filled with merchandise.

Fenpark Drive

Police are investigating incidents of stealing over $500, destruction of property and recovered of a stolen automobile that occurred Sept. 2 on the parking lot of in the 1600 Fenpark Drive. Police said two vehicles were broken into and the steering columns were damaged during an attempt to “hotwire” the vehicles. The suspect was interrupted by an employee and chased away, police said. A stolen vehicle was also recovered on the parking lot, police said.
