Truck Stolen From Fenton Apartment Complex

The owner had recently bought the truck, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

A Fenton woman said her newly-purchased truck was stolen from in front of her apartment building on Aug. 31, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

The woman said she parked the 1994 Chevy pickup truck in front of her building on Mt. Everest around 1:30 a.m. A neighbor told officers the car was still there when he went out to walk his dog around 3 a.m., but was missing when he came back at 6 a.m.

The woman told officers she'd just purchased the vehicle, and papers for the truck were in the glovebox when it was stolen. The truck was not locked, according to the police report.

The truck was valued at $2,000.
