Truck Hits ProPrint on Gravois, Two Reported Injured

Emergency crews were called to the scene of a multi-car accident in Fenton that started at Highway 30 and Old Sugar Creek Road and ended in the front window of ProPrint printing company Saturday morning.

According to witnesses, at least two were injured in an accident Saturday morning, including the driver of a Ford Ranger pickup truck that left the highway and landed in front of at 1165 Gravois Road in Fenton.

The drivers of two vehicles have been taken to St. Anthony’s Medical Center. There is no word on the extent of the injuries at this time.

High Ridge Fire Chief Mike Arnhart said emergency workers received the call at 10:50 a.m. Saturday.

Witnesses said the white Ford Ranger pickup truck was driving eastbound on Highway 30 and left the road near Old Sugar Creek Road. It crossed a median, the westbound lanes of Highway 30 and old Gravois Road, striking at least one other car before it crashed into ProPrint.

ProPrint was closed at the time and no one was in the building. The truck hit a building support and did not enter ProPrint, according to Arnhart.

A Sebring with a family of four was struck by the pickup truck and pushed into the ProPrint parking lot, according to Andrew Workman, a passenger in the car. His wife was driving at the time and has been taken to St. Athonthy's. Their two children, both under four, were uninjured. The children were in car safety seats.

Witnesses at the scene said two other cars were involved in the accident on Highway 30. There is no word at this time if anyone else was injured in the accident.

The Missouri Highway Patrol, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, High Ridge Fire Department and North Jefferson County Ambulance responded to the scene of the accident.
