Trespasser Gets His Wish - An Arrest

The following information was provided by the St. Louis County Police Department Fenton Precinct.

Woodridge Trails Court

A man was arrested Feb. 9 for trespassing on Woodridge Trails Court. Police said the man was roaming around residents’ back yards looking for a place to sleep and when officers arrived the man became verbally combative and requested to be arrested.  He was.

A man was arrested Feb. 19 for stealing under $500 at a discount department store in the 600 block of Gravois Bluffs Boulevard. Police said the man left the store without paying for a 32-inch television.

The tailgate from a new truck was stolen Feb. 18 from a Chevrolet dealership in the 700 block of Gravois Bluffs Boulevard. Police said the investigation is continuing.

A woman was arrested Feb. 15 for stealing under $500 at a department store in the 100 block of Gravois Bluffs Plaza. Police said the woman left the store without paying for several items she had hidden in her purse.

A woman was arrested Feb. 14 for stealing under $500 at a discount department store in the 600 block of Gravois Bluffs Boulevard. Police said the woman switched a $3 price tag with a $20 tag on a shower curtain and also took a coat off a shelf and put it on.  She then purchased several items in her cart, including the $3 shower curtain, and walked out without paying for the coat.

A man was arrested Feb. 10 for stealing under $50 at a discount department store in the 600 block of Gravois Bluffs Boulevard. Police said the suspect hid a jacket, pants and a DVD under his coat. He then ordered chicken from the hot bar and paid for it at the checkout lane and left without paying for the hidden items. While being searched during his arrest police found $1,500 cash on him.

Two people were arrested Feb. 9 for stealing under $500 and drug violations at a discount department store in the 600 block of Gravois Bluffs Boulevard. Police said one suspect left the store with a phone charger, lip gloss, a $3 necklace and other items hidden in her purse. An investigation revealed that the suspect’s friend was helping her steal the items and was outside waiting in a vehicle on the parking lot. Police said searches of both suspects and the vehicle turned containers of a white powder, marijuana, tablets, a pipe used to smoke marijuana, a straw with heroin residue and a syringe.

Gravois Road

A purse was stolen Feb. 19 from an unlocked car parked on a parking lot in the first block of Gravois Road. Police said the investigation is continuing.

Police are looking for a man and woman in connection with a Feb. 17 theft at a pawn shop in the 400 block of Gravois Road. The female suspect stole a tray of rings that she and a male subject were looking at. Police said the investigation is continuing.

Police are looking for a suspect in connection with a Feb. 17 theft at a gym in the 600 block of Gravois Road. Police said someone stole a night deposit.

Police are looking for a suspect in connection with a Feb. 9 theft at a gym in the 600 block of Gravois Road. Police said someone entered the victim’s locker and stole two credit cards. Before the victim finished working out, the cards had been used twice in Chesterfield, police said. The investigation is continuing, police said.

Fenpark Drive

Someone cut a lock on a storage trailer Feb. 14 at a tire company in the 1500 block of Fenpark Drive. The trailer was empty, police said.

Forest Knoll Drive

One man was arrested Feb. 6 for stealing over $500 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in the first block of Forest Knoll Drive. Police said that during mass an unknown suspect shattered two vehicles’ windows and stole items from the interior. One of the items was a GPS unit attached to a front windshield. The investigation is continuing, police said.

Cassens Drive

Someone stole a truck and trailer Feb. 16 at a company in the 2280 block of Cassens Drive. The investigation is continuing, police said.
