Tools Stolen from Pickup Truck Bed

The following information was reported by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

Northridge Drive, Fenton

Multiple tools were stolen between Apr. 22 and Apr. 23 from a pickup truck on Northridge Drive, Fenton. Missing were a 20-inch Stihl chainsaw, a Ryobi gas leaf blower and a Cambell-Hollisfeld Twintank air compressor. The pickup truck had a hard cover, but it was unlocked. The value of the missing items was set at $1,100.

Cambridge Lane, Fenton

A 1991 Mercury Tracer was stolen May 2 from a residence on Cambridge Lane, Fenton. The victim said she was sitting inside her home as the vehicle was being stolen from her driveway. She discovered the theft when she later went outside.

Moncrief Drive, Fenton

A $3,200 Bang and Olufson stereo was stolen May 4 from a home on Moncrief Drive, Fenton. The thief entered the home at the rear of the house where two windows had been broken out. The homeowner told a sheriff's deputy that he believes the thief broke one of the windows in order to reach inside and unlock the door. The stereo was the only item missing. Deputies were able to obtain several fingerprints from a glass panel on the rear door, which are being processed
