Three-Car Accident Sends Two High Ridge Residents to Hospital

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol

Three High Ridge residents were involved in a car accident on Highway 30 last week.

A car driven by James Fessler, 89, failed to yield at a red light at Highway 30 and Little Brennan Road. Fessler struck two vehicles that entered the intersection to make a left turn onto Little Brennan. When his vehicle began to run into the median, Fessler over-corrected his steering and the car overturned, according to the crash report.

Fessler was transported to St. Anthony's Hospital with moderate injuries. Rosemary Radford, 51, was flown to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur with serious injuries. John Koenig, 65, was not injured.
