Thefts Include Stolen Grease; Police Advise Homeowners of Neighborhhood Burglaries

The following information was provided by the St. Louis County Police Department Fenton Precinct.

two residential burglaries in the Bent Tree Trails Subdivision between 11:00 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday has prompted a warning from the Fenton Police Department.Officer Aaron Dilks warns homeowners to be vigilant of solicitors or people and service vehicles such as tree trimmers present in the neighborhood. Dilks also advises residents to keep their garage doors closed and to call the police if they see anything suspicious.

Gravois Bluffs

A minor male concealed a bottle of alcohol Oct 16 at , 45 Gravois Bluffs Plaza, then exited the store making no attempt to pay. He was arrested. 

A woman switched the price tags Oct 16 on merchandise at , 653 Gravois Bluffs Blvd. 10/16/2011, 11-63004. She paid the cheaper price and exited the store.  A summons was issued. 

A juvenile concealed makeup in her purse Oct. 17 at , 653 Gravois Bluffs Plaza, then exited the store making no attempt to pay. She was charged and released to her guardian.  

Two juveniles concealed a bottle of alcohol at , 45 Gravois Bluffs Plaza, then exited the store making no attempt to pay. Both were charged and released to their guardians.  

A woman concealed clothing Oct. 17 at Kohl's, 115 Gravois Bluffs Plaza, then exited the store making no attempt to pay. She was issued a summons. 

A display phone was stolen Oct. 20 from the T-Mobile store at 679 Gravois Bluffs Blvd An unknown suspect stole a display phone.  An investigation is ongoing.   

Two people used stolen credit cards Oct. 22 to purchase gift cards at , 653 Gravois Bluffs Blvd.

During a work shift on Oct 22 an employee of , 691 Gravois Bluffs Blvd., stole money from the cash register. A summons was issued.

Old Smizer Mill Rd.

Someone stole grease from the grease storage tank at , 568 Old Smizer Mill Rd. An investigation is ongoing.

Someone broke the windows on two vehicles Oct 19 at , 435 Old Smizer Mill Rd, and stole backpacks from the front seat.  An investigation is ongoing.

Gravois Road

A display phone was stolen Oct 19 from the AT&T store, 701 Gravois Rd, An investigation is ongoing. 


South Highway Drive

Someone damaged an electric box Oct.17 at UE, 920 South Highway Drive. An unknown suspect damaged the electric box.  An investigation is ongoing. 

Manufacturer's Drive

Several tools, scrap metal and wiring were stolen within the last month from Vandeventer Engineering, 1617 Manufacturers Dr.  An investigation is ongoing. 

North Highway Drive

A summons was issued for a person who was soliciting for money Oct. 20 at North Highway Drive and Bowles Avenue
