Shotgun Threat and an Almost-Scrapped Taurus

The following information was provided by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

Babs Lane, Fenton

A man was arrested by St. Louis County police Aug. 5 after he forced open the front door of a residence on Babs Lane in Fenton and threatened the owner with a shotgun, saying he was going to kill him. The man with the shotgun fled and after being indentified by the resident anf other witnesses and was later arrested at his home in St. Louis County.

Hunning Road, High Ridge

After locating his stolen 1998 Ford Taurus on Aug. 5, the vehicle owner contacted sheriff's deputies who respoded to the location on Hunning Road in High Ridge and arrested a man who was attempting to scrap the Taurus, which was returned to its owner.
