Man Breaks Camcorder of Woman Taking Photos of Him

The following information was provided by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

Robindale Drive, Fenton

A woman was assaulted Jan. 18 and her camcorder was grabbed by a man on Robindale Drive, Fenton, who reached through the window of her vehicle after she attempted to take a photo of him. The woman told sheriff's deputies that the man had been following her maintenance staff. The assault occurred after she confronted the man. After he grabbed the camcorder, he threw it onto the ground, breaking it into many pieces.

Sugar Creek Square, High Ridge

Copper wiring and cell tower equipment was reported stolen Jan. 20 from an address on Sugar Creek Square. Missing was 24 feet of copper wire and the black shell belonging to two grounding units, valued at $3,400. The thefts did not affect cell phone service.

West Rock Creek Road, High Ridge

Copper wiring and tubing and air conditioning units were stolen from a residence on West Rock Creek Road, High Ridge. The value of the property at set at $15,000. In addition, drywall, ceiling tile and light fixtures were damaged.

Birch Street, High Ridge

A woman says she suspects her sister stole a variety of jewelry pieces and other items from her home on Birch Street in High Ridge. Missing are a Nikon Coolpix camera, A Fossil watch and miscellaneous jewelry pieces. The value of the property was set at $780.

Meadow Street, High Ridge

A man who lives on Meadow Street in High Ridge, said he loaned a shotgun to his neighbor around Dec. 30 to use at a firing range. Despite asking the neighbor several times to return the shotgun, he still has not received it back. The neighbor's home now is vacant. The shotgun is valued at $400.
