School Bus, Videotapes, Boat and Trailer Among Stolen Items

The following information was provided by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

Willow Oak Drive, Fenton

Several electronics items valued at $1,284 were stolen from a vehicle at a home on Willow Oak Drive, Fenton, overnight on Oct. 12-13. Deputies responded to the scene where the victim told them about the items being stolen from her vehicle. Missing were a 16-channel Digital Video Recorder, video surveillance equipment and an LCD computer monitor. Deputies dusted for fingerprints and were able to seize four latent prints as evidence. After an area canvass, deputies also learned that two unknown white males were observed in the neighborhood at about 5:30 a.m. Oct. 13.

Emerson Road, High Ridge

Construction tools were stolen Oct. 11 from a mounted toolbox in the bed of a pickup truck on Emerson Road, High Ridge The victim said two black Craftsman tool bags were stolen that contained a Craftsman Saws-All, a cordless impact gun, and a socket set. A fishing rod and reel and two tackle boxes containing various lures also were missing. The total value of the property was set at $1,026.

St. Andrew Court, High Ridge

A gas-powered Yamaha golf cart was stolen Oct. 12 from the rear of a home on St. Andrew Ct., High Ridge. 

Commerce Road, High Ridge

A 40-foot yellow school bus was stolen Oct. 14 from a location on Commerce Road, High Ridge. The bus has a GPS system but it does not work. The keys were left in the bus at the time it was stolen.

Mae Lynn Drive, Fenton

A white 2000 Yamaha Boat and a white boat trailer were stolen from a residence on Mae Lynn Drive, Fenton sometime between Sept. 30 and Oct. 30. The boat and trailer were valued at $7,000. The victim reported them missing Oct. 3 but said the last time they were secure was approximately a month previously.

Treeview Drive, Fenton

A 1980 Harley Davidson "Wide Glide" motocycle, valued at $20,000, was stolen Oct. 3 from a residence on Treeview Drive, Fenton. The victim said he parked the motorcycle by his front door when he arrived home on the evening of Oct 2. He noticed it was missing the next morning at about 11 a.m.

Sun Valley Circle, Fenton

Scrap metal valued at $2,000 was stolen from a business on Sun Valley Circle, Fenton. A repesentative from the business said Oct 4 it was unknown when the scrap metal was actually taken.

High Ridge Commons, High Ridge

A $9,000 auger bit was stolen from the High Ridge Commons construction site at High Ridge Boulevard and Highway 30. A representative of the builder said the Skid steer auger bit was taken from the site sometime between Sept. 30 and Oct. 4.

Major Court, Fenton

Sixty miscellaneous VHS videotapes, valued at $100, were stolen Oct. 3 from a residence on Major Drive, Fenton. Entry was made by forcing a rear window, which was damaged in the burglary. A door window also was damaged. The cost of the damage was estimated at $175.
