Household Items Theft Includes Decorated Christmas Tree

The following information was provided by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

Tesson Hills Drive, Fenton

Someone broke into a storage shed Nov. 17 and stole various household furnishings, including a pool table and a fully decorated Christmas tree. Also missing were a blue sectional sofa, three air purifiers, a green bicycle, various picture frames, a table-and-chairs set and a red pots-and-pans set.

A homeowner reported two firearms missing from his home on Highview Drive, Fenton, following an incident in which he kicked his son out of the house. Initially, the man confronted his son about a misisng 9 mm Hi-Point semi-automatic pistol. The son denied any involvement in the missing pistol, at which time the father asked him to leave the home. Both father and son left the residence. When the father returned later in the afternoon, he discovered his  .40-caliber Hi-Point semi-automatic pistol also was missing.
