Car Sold For Scrap While Owner Was in Jail

Highway PP, High Ridge

A man told a sheriff's deputy that someone sold his 1992 Buick LeSabre for scrap from an address on Highway PP between mid-March 2012 and June 8 while he was in jail. The victim told the sheriff's deputy that he had given the car's keys to a woman he was with and that someone had managed to gain possession of the keys before the vehicle was scrapped at an unknown location. The incident is still under investigation.

Fenton Park Drive, Fenton

Someone forced a rear window open at a home June 8 on Fenton Park Dr., Fenton, and stole a 12-gauge Mosberg shotgun, 380mm Ruger pistol, an air rifle and a DRV security system. The home was uninhabited due to code violations.

Appaloosa Drive, Fenton

Two antique radios, a small safe, a telephone and several DVDs were stolen June 10 from a home on Appaloosa Drive, Fenton. The home was uninhabited due to code violations.

Green Brook Court, Fenton

Someone pushed an air conditioning unit through a master bedroom window some time between May 20 and June 10 at a home on Green Brook Court, Fenton. After entry was made to the residence, a flat screen TV and DVD player were stolen.
