Jewelry, Golf Equipment Taken in Thefts

The following information was provided by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

Bainridge Drive, High Ridge

Jewelry, cash and coins were reported stolen Feb. 11 from a residence on Bainridge Drive, High Ridge. The missing items included a men's 18-inch gold necklace, a gold women's necklace with a floating heart pendant, a women's gold necklace with a floating heart pendant with a diamond and ruby, two wedding rings, a gold men's ring with a stone that changes colors, a gold "mother's" ring with five stones, a one-ounce silver bar, $500 in dollar coins, $48 in cash, ten $2 bills, three rolls of nickels and a Black Hills gold ankle bracelet. The value of the items was set at $1,774.

Sheriff's deputies said the items were last seen by the homeowners about three weeks ago. There were no signs of forced entry to the home. The victim said the whole family is at the home every other weekend, but didn't suspect them in the thefts. Deputies discovered that the jewelry was in locations in the home that only someone familiar with the residence would have looked.

Harter Farms Manor Drive, High Ridge

Golf equipment was stolen Feb. 9 from an open garage at a residence on Harter Farms Manor Drive, High Ridge. Missing were a blue leather golf bag, three Mercedes TI2 clubs, an Odyssey putter, two Taylor Made hybrid clubs and a Nike Sasquatch driver. The value of the items was set at $1,110.
