Semi Trailer Disappears; Chevy Blazer Towed Away

Caroline Drive, High Ridge
A robbery May 26 at the Petro Mart store, in High Ridge, netted $233. A clerk said a man wearing a black mask and red jacket entered the store, produced a firearm and ordered him to empty the cash registers. The suspect then fled the store on foot.
High Ridge Boulevard, High Ridge

Deputies responded to a complaint where a 40- to 65-foot expandable semi trailer was missing from a business on High Ridge Boulevard. The victim said the trailer had been taken between 7:30 p.m. May 25 and 11 a.m. May 26. The red Fruehauf expandable flatbed trailer was valued at $5,000.
Mt. Everest Drive, Fenton

Two men were arrested on suspicion of burglary and assault on May 29 following an incident at an apartment on Mt. Everest Drive in Fenton. Deputies said the victim of the assault was in his apartment with friends when one of the friends answered a knock on the door. Two men forced their way inside, one of whom, the victim said, struck him with a 12-inch ratchet wrench followed by a series of punches. The two men then fled in a black Grand Prix driven by a white woman. The two men were arrested on a traffic stop of the black Grand Prix at West Watson Road in St. Louis County. Both men were identified by the victim and were taken into custody.
Old Highway 141, Fenton
A 2001 U-Haul car dolly was missing after someone hooked it up to a U-Haul truck and drove away with it May 30 from the business on Old Highway 141. The dolly was valued at $1,600. A copy of video surveillance tapes were unavailable. A canvass of the area produced no results.
Fiedler Circle, Fenton
Deputies responded to a report of a car theft where a 1994 green and cream 4-door Chevy Blazer with a dented front bumper and a hanging driver's side mirror was towed away May 30 by a white man wearing a red bandana. The value of the car was set at $2,000. A neighbor who saw the incident said he could not identify a specific tow company. The victim said the car had been paid for in cash and was not on a loan and should not have been on any repossession list.
