Road Rage Driver Arrested After Witness Secures License Plate Number

Th following information was reported by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

San Marcos Drive, Fenton

Someone armed with a woman's Power of Attorney stole the title to her trailer home on San Marcos Drive, Fenton, forged a bill of sale to buy it for $2,000 and then sold it for $22,000. The has a suspect in the incident.

Delores and Brook drives, Fenton

A man was arrested in an apparent case of road rage after he confronted another driver March 9 at Delores and Brook drives, in Fenton. The victim in the incident said he honked his horn at a man who cut him off on the road. The suspect then followed the victim until he pulled over at Delores and Brook drives. The victim said the suspect approached his vehicle with a handgun in his hand, pointing it into the car window, at which time the victim sped away. A witness to the confrontation obtained the suspect's license plate number which deputies used to locate the suspect, who was arrested. The handgun was seized.

Seebold Spur, Fenton

Miscellaneous scrap iron and other items, valued at $1,760 were stolen between March 1 and March 10 from a property on the Seebold Spur, Fenton. Missing was scrap iron, 25 pipe sawhorses, six "T" studs, and three dollies.

Mt. Everest Drive, Fenton

Responding to a reported disturbance March 11 to an apartment on Mt. Everest Drive, Fenton, deputies were told by a man that there was no disturbance. After seeking permission to search the apartment, deputies discovered six used hypodermic needles, three burnt spoons, one burnt spoon with residue, and 14 empty heroin beans in a bedroom. Three of the used hypodermic needles were found uncapped within the reach of two young children. The bedroom door was open. The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child.  

Braintree Drive, High Ridge

A man who was sitting on a bench March 11 on Braintree Drive told deputies he was attacked and beaten by several men. The victim said several men approached him as he was sitting on the bench. One of the suspects reportedly pulled a gun from his pants and placed it to the victim's head telling him to "sit down." The victim was then tackled and repeatedly kicked and punched by all of the suspects. No arrests have been made.

Carlton Drive, High Ridge

A five-ton air conditioning unit was stolen sometime between March 9 and March 12 from a vacant commercial building that is for sale on Carlton Drive, High Ridge. The unit was valued at $1,000. Local recycling centers were contacted but no information was discovered concerning the air conditioner.

Flint Drive, Fenton

A fire that apparently was intentionally set March 14 on Flint Drive, in Fenton, destroyed one trailer home ans damaged another. Three teenagers were taken into custody, suspected of starting the fire. Upon arrival at the scene of what they called a suspicious fire, deputies learned from the Fire Marshal of the that the fire was intentionally set by the three teenagers who lived in the community. The case is now in the prosecuting attorney's office, which will decide whether, or if, to files charges in the fire.
