Prescription Meds, Perfume Stolen from High Ridge Home

Medications for pain, sleep disorders and panic disorders were taken, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

Several bottles of prescription medication and perfume were among the items reported missing by a High Ridge resident following a home burglary between Sept. 6 and Sept. 11.

A resident on South Golden Circle contacted the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office after discovering the medications, two perfume bottles and three eyeglass cleaners were missing.

Two empty pill bottles were left at the scene, according to the burglary report. Hydrocodone, a pain medication, Clonazepam, used to treat epilepsy and panic disorders, and Modafinil--for sleep disorders--were stolen, according to police. The items were valued at $335.

The house was left unlocked to allow painters to access the home, according to the report.
