Paint Supplies, Handicap Ramp Turn Up Missing in Thefts
The following information was provided by the Jefferson Country Sheriff's Department.
Amberleaf Drive, Fenton
A man reported that someone entered his home on Amberleaf Drive, Fenton, Feb. 29 while he slept and stole an HP laptop computer, which later was recovered from a nearby dumpster. The thief reportedly entered the home through an unlocked front door.
Marion Lee Drive, High Ridge

Between Jan. 1 and Jan. 31, someone stole a metal handicap ramp from a home on Marion Lee Drive, High Ridge. The homeowner said his stepdaughter's male friend has been seen leaving the residence with pieces of the metal ramp, but he has not been contacted yet. An investigation is ongoing. The ramp was valued at $4,000.
Thoreau Trail, High Ridge

After Feb. 24, someone stole a variety of electronics from a home on Thoreau Trail, High Ridge. Missing are a 30-inch Visio flat screen TV and Xbox 360 game system, controllers and charger. The value of the property was set at $900. The homeowner said the front door of his home was unlocked when he arrived and that the lock had not been damaged.
Linnus Drive, High Ridge
Sometime within the past month, someone stole a variety of items from an apartment on Linnus Drive, High Ridge. Missing are a gray 50-gallon water heater, a gallon of Olympic brand "fast hide" white paint, miscellaneous paint rollers, paint trays and paint brushes. The value of the missing items was set at $1,575.
