Nursing Home Employee Steals Resident's Jitterbug Phone

Sept. 18: A man was taken into custody at Kohl’s, 115 Gravois Bluffs Plz., after attempting to hide stolen merchandise in his pants.

Sept. 18: A man was taken into custody for public intoxication, possession of an open container and failure to comply with a law enforcement officer after “walking on the roadway causing a disturbance” at South Hwy Drive and Larkin Williams.

Sept. 19: An employee at Fieser Nursing Home, 404 Main St., stole a resident’s Jitterbug phone.

Sept. 20: A woman was issued a summons after wearing several stolen bras, underwear and a girdle underneath her clothing and attempting to leave Kohl’s.

Sept. 20: A summons was issued to an individual who made a fraudulent return to Walmart, 653 Gravois Bluffs Blvd., then stole three painter’s pens and two video games.

Sept. 20: A display phone was stolen from Verizon, 160 Gravois Bluffs Circle. The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
