Gravois Bluffs, Fenton Crossing and Fenton Commons Retail Areas
A man was arrested July 15 for stealing under $500 at the Shop 'n Save in the first block of Gravois Bluffs Plaza Dr. Police said the man hid batteries in his pants and left the store without paying.
A woman was arrested on theft and drug charges July 14 near the Walmart in the 600 block of Gravois Bluffs Blvd. Police said the woman bought cold medicine, but then stole lithium batteries from the store. An officer soon after made a traffic stop of her vehicle after seeing her commit several violations. While investigating the traffic offenses, a stealing report was broadcast over his radio. A search found the woman in possession of five items that police say are precursors to manufacturing methamphetamine.
Two people were arrested July 13 for stealing under $500 at the Walmart in the 600 block of Gravois Bluffs Blvd. Police said the two suspects each loaded up a cart with toiletries valued at $324 and $275 and left the store without paying.
A woman was arrested July 13 for stealing under $500 and trespassing at the Walmart in the 600 block of Gravois Bluffs Blvd. Police said the woman hid clothing valued at $135.07 in her purse and left the store without paying. Police said they discovered she had already been given a “Notification of Restriction” by the Manchester Walmart for stealing in the past.
Cash and a debit card were stolen July 16 from a car parked at RiverChase in the 900 block of Horan Dr. Police said the debit card and $1,140 cash were stolen from the center console of the unlocked car. Also at RiverChase, a cell phone was stolen July 10 from a vehicle parked on the lot, and on July 9 a wallet and its contents were stolen. Both cars were unlocked, police said. In addition, a coin purse was stolen July 8 after being left on a locker room bench.
Police are investigating a July 14 burglary in the 1600 block of Coronita Dr. Police said someone entered the victim’s open garage and stole a Global Positioning System and a camera from an unlocked vehicle.
Burglars stole tools July 15 from an unlocked warehouse being rehabbed at Becker Contracting in the 1500 block of Larkin Williams Rd.
Police are investigating a July 10 assault near Interstate 44 and Bowles Avenue. Police said a group of 15 men riding on a “party bus” exited the bus and assaulted two men inside a vehicle stopped at a stoplight. No injuries were reported and no suspect information could be determined, police said.
A man was arrested July 10 for disorderly conduct at the QuikTrip in the 1900 block of Bowles Ave. Police said that a person pulled his shorts down and urinated on the grass in front of numerous patrons.
