Man Indicted on Domestic Assault, Barricading Himself in Motel

Bryan Thomas is accused of slamming a motel room door on his girlfriend's arm, then blocking police out of his room by barring the doorway.

A 27-year-old man was indicted by a St. Louis County grand jury on second-degree domestic assault and resisting arrest.

St. Louis County prosecutors said Bryan Thomas room at the Rodeway Inn and Suites, 1860 Bowles Ave. in Fenton.

St. Louis County Police said Thomas taunted officers and making an obscene gesture and after blocking the doorway with the motel refrigerator.

The St. Louis County Police Tactical Unit was brought in and arrested Thomas.

Thomas was being held Monday in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $25,000.
