Man Arrested in Connection With High Ridge Bank Robbery

Damon Gibbs is charged with robbery in the first degree.

Damon Gibbs, of St. Louis, was arrested Friday in connection with a bank robbery last October at the US Bank located inside the Schnucks Market at 21 Dillon Plaza in High Ridge.

Detectives from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department conducted a follow-up investigation in conjunction with other local agencies that were investigating similar robberies throughout the St. Louis area, which led to the arrest of Gibbs.

The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Gibbs with Robbery 1st Degree. Gibbs is currently incarcerated at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department  Jail on a $ 250,000 cash-only bond.
