It's Air-Conditioning Season and Thieves are Hard at Work

Biltmore Drive, Fenton

Two Carrier air conditioning units were stolen May 18-19 from a business on Biltmore Drive, Fenton. The value of the items was set at $7,000. The sheriff's deputy's report indicates that following the theft, the thieves returned to the business May 19 to pick up the pieces and accessories that were left behind in the initial theft. An investigation is ongoing.

Gravois Road, Fenton

Two, 3-ton Heil air conditioners, valued at $2,400, were stolen  May 14-15 from a business on Gravois Road, Fenton, and thrown into a nearby creek. All of the copper parts were then removed from the air conditioning units and the thieves fled in an unknown direction.
