High Ridge Woman Sent to Hospital Following Car Crash

Wanda Horton, 68, of High Ridge, was moderately injured Jan. 3 in a one-car crash on Schumacher Road near Hidden Hollow Farm Road, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).
According to the MSHP, Horton was travelling northbound on Schumacher Road at about 11:40 a.m. when her 2005 Honda CRV travelled off the north side of the roadway and struck a tree. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, the MSHP report stated. Horton was transported to St. Anthony's Medical Center with moderate injuries. Her vehicle was extensively damaged and was towed from the scene of the accident.
