High Ridge Woman Killed in I-270 Car Crash
Four-car crash in Maryland Heights claims one life, sends three to hospital with minor injuries.
Mary Barnett, 28, of High Ridge, was killed Wednesday in a four-car crash in Maryland Heights on Interstate 270, south of Interstate 70.
The accident occurred just after noon Wednesday as the four cars involved were travelling north on I-270. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Bennett's 2005 Ford Focus made a lane change and struck a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer that was slowing in traffic and then was struck by the fourth vehicle.
All four drivers were transported to De Paul Hospital where Bennett was pronounced dead. The other three drivers, including Michael Black, of Ballwin, were treated for minor injuries.
