High Ridge Man Seriously Injured in Head On Collision

Steven Brodeur's 2001 Buell Blast hit an approaching car head-on, which caused Brodeur to hit the front of the windshield.

A 32-year-old High Ridge man was seriously injured Sunday afternoon in a two-car accident on Rock Creek Road. 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Steven Brodeur was driving on Rock Creek Road, near the Rock Creek and Route 30 intersection, when he crossed the center line while both vehicles were attempting to turn. 

Brodeur's 2001 Buell Blast hit the approaching car head-on, which caused Brodeur to hit the front of the windshield.

Brodeur was taken by helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur with serious injuries. 

The other driver, according to the highway patrol, was uninjured.
