Head-On Coillision Sends High Ridge Man to Hospital

Brian F. Decker, 47, of High Ridge, was sent to the hospital with moderate injuries as the result of a head-on crash Monday on Greenwood Drive, north of Schumacher Rd. in High Ridge, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).
According to the MSHP, Decker's 2001 Ford F150 truck was struck head-on by a 2008 Ford Focus driven by Joe Brown, 32, of High Ridge. The report stated Brown's vehicle failed to negotiate a curve to the right on Greenwood Drive and crossed into the path of Decker's vehicle, striking it head-on. Both vehicles were totalled and Decker was sent to Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur for his injuries. Brown was reported to have no injuries. Both men were wearing seat belts.
