Police: After Stealing a $7.50 Tip Jar, Fenton Woman is Held On $50,000 Bail

Police said Lori Sisak made off with the jar after a cashier at Smoke Sensations told her she couldn't access the cash register's money unless Sisak made a purchase.

A Fenton woman faces first-degree robbery and armed criminal action charges after attempting to rob a smoke shop at knifepoint last month—and only made it out with a tip jar.

A cashier at Smoke Sensations, 10532 Page Ave., said Lori Sisak entered the store with a knife around 8:25 p.m. on Jan. 12, and demanded money from the cash register, according to St. Louis County Police.

When the cashier told Sisak that she would need to purchase something to open the register, she ran out of the store with a tip jar from the counter.
