Fenton Woman Busted at Hotel for Selling Prescription Meds

A Fenton woman faces drug dealing charges after St. Louis County Police searched her hotel room and found alprazolam.

Julie C. Hirsh, 42, of the 1400 block of San Miguel Lane in Fenton, was charged Friday with intent to distribute a controlled substance.

St. Louis County Police said they responded to a call regarding drug activity at Rodeway Inn and Suites at 1860 Bowles Ave. They searched Hirsh’s room and found several alprazolam tablets. Alprazolam is better known by the brand name of Xanax.

Police said Hirsh acknowledged that she planned to sell the alprazolam tablets.

Hirsh is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $25,000.
