Police Warn of Burglaries; Holiday Shoplifters are Active

The following information was provided by the St. Louis County Police Department Fenton Precinct.

Fenton police report several burglaries in the neighborhoods recently, with three suspects captured by police. Police said gold was the target in several burglaries, which the burglars immediately tried to cash in.

Other thefts included TVs and other electronics items, leading police to believe there is still an active burglar in the area.

"Keep an eye out for suspicious behavior," advised Police Officer Aaron Dilks.

In other crime activity:

A woman concealed perfume, cologne, and a First Response Test in her purse Dec. 26 at , 653 Gravois Bluffs Blvd then exited the store making no attempt to pay.  She was issued a summons.

Two suspects conducted fraudulent returns on two separate occasions Dec. 27 at J.C. Penney, 798 Gravois Bluffs Blvd.  They were arrested.

A woman concealed a bottle of liquor Dec. 27 at , 45 Gravois Bluffs Blvd. and left the store making no attempt to pay.  She was arrested.

A man  concealed a two-pack of gloves in his hoodie Dec. 27 at , 653 Gravois Bluffs Blvd., then left the store making no attempt to pay.  He was arrested. 

The suspect concealed a DVD Dec. 27 at , 653 Gravois Bluffs Blvd., then left the store making no attempt to pay.  He was arrested. 

The window of a vehicle on the parking lot of J.C. Penney, 798 Gravois Bluffs Blvd. was shattered by an unknown object Dec. 29. An investigation is ongoing. 

A man concealed a shirt Dec. 29 at J.C. Penney, 798 Gravois Bluffs Blvd., and left the store making no effort to pay. He was arrested.

Someone stole 27 feet of steel drainage grates Dec. 30 from the bays at the 10 Fenton Plaza. An investigation is ongoing.

A peace disturbance summons was issued Dec. 29 to a man who allowed his dog to bark excessively at a home on San Martin Drive
