Fenton Man Seriously Injured in One-Car Crash

Payden Welker, 23, of Fenton, was seriously injured in a car crash Thursday on Sugar Creek Road, in High Ridge, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).

The MSHP, in it's report, said Welker was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer southbound on Old Sugar Creek Road, just north of Als Lane when he failed to notice a curve in the roadway. According to the MSHP, Welker overcorrected on the curve, drove off the left side of the roadway and overturned. He was taken to St. Anthony's Medical Center with serious injuries. The Trailblazer was deemed "totalled."
