Fenton Man Driving 120 mph Charged With DWI in Town and Country

Town and Country Police said the man was driving about 60 mph over the speed limit on Spirit of St. Louis Boulevard.

A Fenton man was driving 120 mph on Spirit of St. Louis Boulevard when Town and Country Police pulled him over early Monday morning. Police said he was driving while intoxicated.

David William Hutson, 38, of the 1200 block of Kings Trail Drive in Fenton, was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated as a persistent offender and exceeding the speed limit by more than 26 mph.

An officer pulled Hutson over for driving 120 mph in a 60 mph zone. The officer said when he contacted Hutson, he smelled a strong odor of alcohol, saw the driver had slurred speech, swayed and staggered when he stood up and walked, and had bloodshot and watery eyes.
