Fenton Business is Target of Cigarette Burglary

The burglary happened to a business on Gravois Road in Fenton.

Deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department are investigating a case of second-degree burglary at a Fenton business. 

The incident occurred just before 1 a.m. on Feb. 23, according to video surveillance, police said.

Two unidentified suspects entered the business on Gravois Road through the front door by using a key. They then stole between 10 to 15 cartons of cigarettes. 

An investigation revealed that a former employee failed to turn in a key in a timely manner, but she denies any involvement. The investigation is ongoing.
