Electronics, Knives, Girlfriend Missing in Heist
The following information was provided by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.
Peppermint Drive, Fenton
A variety of electronic items, a diamond necklace, knives and a girlfriend turned up missing from a mobile home on Peppermint Drive in Fenton on July 29. The girlfriend, who was staying at the home, is suspected in a burglary that took place overnight between July 28-29. The homeowner said he returned home to find several items missing, including a Toshiba 25-inch television, a Dell computer modem, a Kodak digital camera, a Nintendo Wii game system, a PlayStation 2 system and six games, a knife collection and a diamond heart necklace. There was no sign of forced entry at the home. The girlfriend could not be located.
Mea Court, Fenton

Sheriff's deputies observed videotape from the Grand Slam bar Aug. 1 that showed an orange, full-sized truck towing a vehicle dolly that carried a green 1997 Taurus from a residence on Mea Court in High Ridge that had been stolen the night before. There are no suspects in the theft.
Rock Creek Road, High Ridge

A man was arrested on suspicion of burglary July 30 when a homeowner on Rock Creek Road returned to his home, which was being remodeled, to discover a vehicle parked behind the house. The homeowner also saw the man gathering several items from the home and placing them at the back door. Sheriff's deputies saw a crow bar and a hammer inside the suspect's vehicle and sought permission to search it where they found a clear plastic bag containing a powdered substance.
Country Sunrise Road, High Ridge
Someone stole a woman's debit card July 26 from a wallet in her purse that was in an unlocked vehicle on Country Sunrise Road in High Ridge. One purchase was made with the card before it was cancelled.
