Couple Injured in House Springs Car Crash Monday

John and Mishell J. Gilbers, of House Springs, were received minor injuries Monday when their 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier ran off the road on Lower Hillsboro Road in Jefferson County.

Mishell Gilbers, 54, failed to negotiate a curve on Lower Hillsboro Road at about 7:58 a.m. Monday when the vehicle she was driving ran off the right side of the road, struck a mailbox and an embankment before coming to rest, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP). John Gilbers was a passenger in the vehicle. Both were taken to St. Anthony's Medical Center with what the MSHP described as minor injuries.
