Burglar Makes $7,000 Haul in Coins, Currency, Computer

The following information was reported by the .

Someone entered a home Aug 15 on Nutmeg Lane, Fenton, through an unsecured side window and stole several items: an HP laptop computer, a safety deposit box containing personal paperwork, silver dollar coins, old United States currency bills, a Sony Playstation 3, a .22cal Cricket single shot rifle, a jewelry box containing miscellaneous jewelry and prescription medications including hydrocodone, Flexerol and heart and blood pressure medicine. The items are valued at $7,000.

Deputies located fingerprints on the side window, but during a canvas of the area seeking witnesses, none were found. Another canvas will be performed. The investigation will continue.
