$16,000, iPad Stolen From Unlocked Car in Fenton

Deposits from businesses stolen while man visited his father.

Kohnen Drive, Fenton

A man who was visiting his father July 6 at a home directly behind his own on Kohnen Drive, Fenton, discovered later that $16,000 cash, which were deposits from his businesses, had been stolen from his unlocked vehicle. An iPad also was stolen which was valued at $729.99. Sheriff's deputies were unable to locate any witness or any fingerprints from the vehicle.

Country Club Drive, High Ridge

A woman who resides on Country Club Drive, High Ridge, told a sheriff's deputy that someone used her credit card June 2 to make purchases totalling $106.97. There have been no purchases since and the card has been cancelled. The woman was unable to determine how or exactly when her card number was obtained. She told the sheriff's deputy she had spoken with a representative of the credit card company and was informed that whoever used her card knew the number and expiration date.

Mt. Everest Drive, Fenton

A newly purchased 2000 Chevrolet Malibu was stolen July 6 from a parking lot  in front of an apartment building on Mt. Everest Drive, Fenton. The vehicle was valued at $2,500. It was stolen between 9 and 10 p.m. The victim was unable to provide a VIN number or plate number for the vehicle since it has been recently purchased but was able to identify a person of interest in the theft. An investigation is ongoing.
