$11,000 'For Sale' Night Train Motorcycle Stolen

The following information was provided by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

Dillon Plaza, High Ridge

A man who left his motorcycle advertised for sale overnight on the parking lot of Dillon Plaza near the intersection of Caroline and Jacqueline drives, in High Ridge, discovered it was missing on the morning of June 6. The 2004 red Harley Davidson "Night Train" motorcycle was valued at $11,000. An effort to find video surveillance tapes from local businesses was unsuccessful.

Deputies responded to a report of a burglary at a mobile home June 4 on Golden Oaks Drive. They observed blood around a shattered window located at the rear of the home. The potential burglars did not enter the home and did not take any items from it.  A 3-foot by 6-foot glass window was damaged. Deputies swabbed for DNA and sent the evidence to the Missouri Highway Patrol crime lab. An investigation is ongoing.
