$10,000 in Jewelry, Electronics Stolen from High Ridge Home

Several pieces of jewelry and a flatscreen TV were taken from the home somewhere between June 28 and June 30, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

Approximately $10,000 in assorted jewelry, in addition to a flatscreen TV, were taken from a home on Terry Drive in High Ridge, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office reports.

The home was burglarized between June 28 and 30. The suspect used a code to enter the garage, and then forced entry into the home from the garage, police said.

Officers found a putty knife, which they believe could have been used to gain entry into the house, according to the report. They also found "a small cloth piece with blood" and a credit card, neither of which belonged to the resident. The investigation is ongoing.
