On July 30, police received a report of a man barging into a residence in Maryland Heights uninvited, presenting the elderly resident with a business card. hTe subject suggested the resident redo the kitchen floor and have the trees trimmed, and then picked up money on the kitchen table.

A victim in Richmond Heights told police on Aug. 8 that he sent $840 via Western Union to Kingston, Jamaica. He said that a caller told him he needed to send a small amount of money in order to collect on winnings of $950,000 and a Mercedes Benz.
