Open Door Animal Sanctuary Receives $1K Care Package & $1,546 Cash Donation from Purina Cat Chow

Today, Purina Cat Chow delivered a “50 Years. 50 Shelters.” Care Package to Open Door Animal Sanctuary in House Springs, Mo. The Care Packages are valued at $1,000 each and include Purina®Cat Chow® brand cat food, Purina® Tidy Cats®brand cat litter and general cat care items – including toys, beds, scratching posts and food dishes.

Also, thanks to the support of and online votes from the community, Purina Cat Chow is making a $1,546 cash donation to Open Door Animal Sanctuary for participating in the “50 Years. 50 Shelters” program, created to celebrate the brand’s 50 years of feeding great relationships between cats and their owners. The Purina Cat Chow "50 Years. 50 Shelters." program supported 50 cat-focused shelters nationwide – one in every state - and provided $225,000 in product and monetary donations.  

Open Door Animal Sanctuary was one of four shelters that received a site makeover as part of the Purina Cat Chow "50 Years. 50 Shelters." program; in total the organization is receiving $12,546 in product, makeover funds and cash donations from Purina Cat Chow.
