Community Update

A wellness revolution is more than a wellness program.  It involves an entire community of people
that come together and infuse wellness into their culture.  We launched our “Wellness Revolution” at Maritz Motivation Solutions on
July 9th.  Our program is
designed by employees for employees and takes a grassroots approach by using
social connections, workplace engagement tools, and our own design philosophies
to help encourage individual ownership, commitment, and motivation to adopt
healthy behaviors.

The first step in the program is anchored around physical
activity and encourages employees to step up and get moving.  We are working with Walkingspree, our wellness partner, to
provides employees with a pedometer to help track their steps, allow them to
set personal goals, but also make it part of the complete employee experience,
including, recognition, rewards, challenges, and feedback.  We are also reinforcing enrollment and
participation through on-campus and field based initiatives to help reinforce
activity through company walks, message boards, onsite wellness classes, and
social connections.

The next phases of our program include tools to help promote
nutrition, mental wellbeing, and prevention.
The difference is that the program is living and breathing and will
continue to evolve over time.
