Congratulations to Renee Reuter, Steve Farmer and John McCaherty!

Congratulations to the re-elected and newly elected Jefferson County representatives!

I am so happy you won your races!  It was great working with you and for you through the Primaries and into the General Election.  The win makes the tireless hours of planning, walking, fund raising, lit drops, handshaking and worrying all worthwhile.

The last year has been a definite whirlwind, but now the real work begins.  I know that Renee will do a great job as she has done for the past two years as will John McCaherty.  Steve Farmer will have many new things to learn and I know he will do a great job.  He has already shared some of his plans for new programs that will help the aging and disabled in our community.  He definitely sees a new outlook for the Public Administrator's office that will involve more care and an outreach into the community to those that would otherwise be left with no hope.

I also want to give a shout out to Linda Nees who won re-election to the County Treasurers office.  I am glad to say that I supported her.  I have been told that Linda works hard to do a great job for Jefferson County with no politics involved and I respect that.  It is evident that she is the best person for the job.
