Fourth of July: What's Open, Closed Around Fenton, High Ridge

As Fenton and High Ridge residents celebrate the Fourth of July with this long weekend, many local businesses are changing their hours to give employees a holiday break.

The following is a list of what Patch found to be open and closed Thursday and Friday, July 4-5. 

Attractions/Entertainment

  • Swing-a-Round Fun Town: Open Thursday 10 a.m. - 11 p.m., and Friday 10 a.m. - midnight.
Businesses
  • Schnucks: Open regular business hours Thursday.
  • Walgreens: Open regular business hours.
  • The Malt Shop will be open on Thursday
  • Carol's Hallmark Shop will be open on Thursday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Government Offices
  • City of Fenton: City Hall will be closed.
  • St. Louis County Library: Branches will be closed Thursday, but will reopen Friday.
  • Jefferson County Library: Branches will be closed Thursday, but will reopen Friday.
  • U.S. Postal Service: Post offices are closed and mail will not be delivered Thursday, but the postal service schedule resumes with offices open and mail delivered on Friday.
