Ferdfoto of the Day: Spectacular Storm Front

Since bad storms are currently on everyones mind I thought I would share these photos.

One early morning in 2010, while driving to work, I followed a storm that was quickly moving in.  When I got to the now defunct Chrysler Plant,  this storm front formed with the most unique clouds I have ever seen.  Many of us were stopped along the outer road dazzled by this spectacular front.  It went through incredibly fast and with only some high winds.  Within 10 minutes it was gone.  The first photo is the beginning of the formation 

The camera I used was a Canon 50D, Canon EF16-35mm f/2.8 USM Lens
