Eight year old Isabella G has her head shaved for St. Baldrick's fundraiser
For the past 10 years Helen Fitzgerald's has hosted a fundraiser for childhood cancer research. The name of the fundraiser is St. Baldrick's. People that sign up for the event commit to have their heads shaved and they seek sponsors to donate.
On Saturday March 9th this event was held to a packed house day and night. I photographed a friend's grandchild going through the process of getting her head shaved (see the attached slideshow). Her name is Isabella G. and she is 8 years old.
Good for you Isabella, you are just as beautiful with a shaved head. We all thank you for your bravery, and you made a whole lot of people proud!!! This a life changing gift you gave and you will never forget this.

By the way, Isabella raised almost $2000. She was the top fundraiser on her team "Angels with Attitudes"
