"Higher" CD Release Party

Elevation Worship: Taking You “Higher”

FENTON, MO - December 3, 2012 - Taking you higher. That’s the mantra and the heart of Elevation Church and of it's pastor Daniel Taylor: Taking people higher in their relationship with God, their relationships with others, and in their impact and service on the world. It then comes as no surprise that the title of Elevation’s very first CD is “Higher.”

“Higher” is set to release Sunday, December 9, and features six cover tracks of modern worship songs by national recording artists Matt Redman, Phil Wickham, and Hillsong, to name a few. Tracks from the album will be performed live at the “Higher” CD Release Party to be held Sunday, December 9th, 11:00 am at Rockwood Summit High School, 1780 Hawkins Road in Fenton, MO.

However, the “Higher” CD release isn’t only about music, but as lead pastor Daniel Taylor has said, is “music with a cause.” One hundred percent of the proceeds from “Higher” will go to The Covering House, one of Elevation Church's strategic partners committed to fighting sex trafficking in St. Louis. The Covering House is an organization which provides refuge and restoration for girls under the age of eighteen who have experienced sexual exploitation or sexual trafficking.

Thus, the passions of The Covering House and Elevation Church have crossed paths with the “Higher” release to impact the city of St. Louis and bring an end to sex trafficking. As Pastor Daniel has said, "It is a BIG goal, but we serve a BIG God whose heart is broken over the issue."

Elevation Church meets on Sundays at 11:00 am at Rockwood Summit High School, 1780 Hawkins Road in Fenton, MO. For more information, visit elevationSTL.com.
