Winter's Last Gasp? Snow Clogs Morning Commute

Spring break for many schools gets underway with a blanket of fluffy wet snow.

A couple of inches of snow blanketed Fenton and High Ridge Monday morning as winter sprung one last surprise. Spring officially starts Sunday.

The sloppy, wet snowfall caused some clogged roads during the morning rush hour, but drivers appear to be getting used to driving in the winter weather. The St. Louis County Police Department's Fenton Precinct reported no accidents in the city this morning.

The National Weather Service is predicting occasional rain and snow all day with a low of 34 degrees. By Wednesday though, temperatures are expected to be 60s, climbing into the 70s on Thursday.
