Sweetie, Baby Boy, Big Red, Freckles are Ready for New Homes

Dogs, cats available for adoption from the Open Door Animal Sanctuary.

Sweetie and Baby Boy are two brothers looking for a new home. They are roughly 3 years old and have been at the shelter for the past two years. They are very playful and love to steal toys from the other cats. Baby Boy can turn anything into a toy if given the opportunity. These boys were the victims of a bad divorce and were very scared when they first came in. Now they are outgoing and love to be petted, they aren't comfortable with being held, but they may change in a home environment. We would love to see these boys go together, but we are totally fine with them going to homes separately. If you are looking for some entertainment, please come and fall in love with Sweetie and Baby Boy.

Big Red came to us with a torn ligament in his back leg. Even though he was in much pain, he was so sweet and everyone fell in love with him. He is about 2 years old and is completely housebroken. He also knows some basic commands. Red loves attention and loves to be petted and scratched. Being an American Bulldog mix, he is a strong and muscular guy. He weighs in at a solid 60 lbs. He gets along well with other dogs but does not like cats at all. If you are in the market for a sweet, energetic man to complete your family, you cannot ask for a better dog than Red.

Freckles is a great mutt that has had it pretty rough. She was abandoned by her previous family and she was hit by a car. When she arrived at the shelter, she was in need of a surgery to fix her back leg. She has healed nicely and is ready to take charge of her new home. Freckles is just 9 months old and full of energy. She needs some training but is smart enough to learn anything. She currently weighs 30 lbs, but is going to get bigger. If you are looking for a bundle of hyper energy, Freckles will not disappoint.
